What can journaling do for you?

Loads of research, along with the positive experiences of millions who write for health and perspective, have proven that journaling can help us …

  1. Ease stress

  2. Clarify needs

  3. Spark creativity

  4. Build courage

  5. Stimulate healing

  6. Improve learning

  7. Explore life patterns

  8. Capture stories

  9. Make better decisions

  10. Know ourselves

Why does journaling help so much?

To work well, love fully and live freely, we need to feel in touch with our essential selves. But daily life buries us in mountains of detail that obscure our sense of wholeness. Giving ourselves time to gather our thoughts can be a true gift – laying the foundation for a calmer, better life.

If you’ve never written in a journal before, visit the Pearl Diver blog for the tips and confidence you need to get started. If you’re an experienced writer, try out the loving questions at the end of each post as a means of deepening your journaling practice.

In my blog and custom journaling workshops, I offer insights that can help you write more freely. You’ll learn how to make journaling a healthy habit, something you look forward to doing. You’ll discover easy ways to work it into your life and how to keep your journals private. The welcoming space we create together will give you the support you're looking for.
